Graduates from Hairdressing Essentials are encouraged to continue their training to achieve the skills and knowledge necessary to be a hair stylist. This programme can also accommodate those learners who have studied elsewhere – we will ensure a smooth transitional crossover.

In this programme there is a focus on cutting with scissors and clippers, advanced colouring, foiling, and colour correction. Learners will also gain crucial understanding of razor techniques, and chemical straightening, bleach and tone.
Graduates will obtain the theoretical knowledge, practical skills and positive attitudes to work in salons under broad guidance.
You’ll be immersed in the different techniques for cutting, colouring and styling. Put all your skills to the test, practicing in our on-site salons to build your confidence and creative flair.
You are your most important asset. Learn to sell yourself with networking and communication skills, and sales techniques.
