Become a triple threat, learning the full spectrum of essential beauty therapies, advanced body therapies and makeup artistry skills.

This is the ultimate for budding beauty gurus! You’ll be fully prepared for all aspects of the makeup and beauty industry when you graduate and will be exposed to exclusive internship opportunities.

The programme includes the following levels of study:


NZ Certificate in Makeup and Skincare Level 3 (Introductory)

Study the basics of makeup artistry, perfecting the essentials of prepping skin and applying a range of makeup techniques. 

Beauty & Body Essentials Level 4

You’ll then progress on to the fascinating world of beauty therapy. The course will prepare you for entry level jobs in the beauty industry by teaching a wide range of beauty services. From manicures and pedicures to waxing, facials and massage, as well as beauty related sciences, you’ll be well prepared for the industry.

Face, Body & Spa Therapies Level 5

This course fully prepares you for the demands of the beauty therapy industry. You’ll learn practical, hands-on training in advanced body and spa therapy services and products. It also goes a step further, teaching you the skills needed to manage salon operations including the ins and out of managing your own salon business.

  • Monday to Thursday 9am to 4pm, Fridays 9am to 1pm ( half-day self-directed learning on a Friday).

  • NCEA Level 1 or equivalent

  • New Zealand Certificate in Makeup and Skincare Level 3

  • New Zealand Certificate in Beauty Therapy Level 4

  • New Zealand Diploma in Beauty Therapy Level 5

$26,499

You may qualify to have your course fees paid up to $12,000 for this programme by the government. Refer to the website www.feesfree.govt.nz to check and see if you are eligible
