Our head hairdressing tutor is a published author of a widely used hairdressing text on ‘the standards of hairdressing in New Zealand’.

Course fee includes:
$4220 (student loan available to cover course fees if eligible)
Duration:
49 weeks (4 days a week, 9am-4.30pm)

Hairdressing - Year Two

Students will work in our busy training salon on live models – cutting, colouring, & styling, in conjunction with salon placement for suitable candidates.
At The Hairdressing Academy you will achieve NZQA unit standards, Local Certification & ‘City & Guilds Diploma in Hairdressing’ in your second year.
The Hairdressing Academy is Internationally approved to offer ‘City & Guilds Qualifications in Hairdressing’.
City & Guilds is the largest Qualification Awards body in the world, and therefore ensures that your ‘City & Guilds Diploma in Hairdressing,’ will qualify you internationally as a hairdresser.
With City & Guilds graduates can gain employment upon luxury cruise liners, and work in style while travelling the world. This type of job opportunities pays extremely well.
