Beautician, Nail Technician, Laser and IPL

This course will qualify graduates as Beauticians, Nail Technicians and IPL Treatment Specialists. Therefore it offers excellent employment outcomes as IPL is currently the highest beauty Industry skill gap Internationally and we are one of two college's in the country offering sufficient training and International qualifications for IPL.

Qualified Beauticians receive 20% discount on fee and are only required to come in 3 days per week.

36 tuition weeks (4 days a week 9am-4.30pm)
3 weeks holidays (to be advised)
Course content
Professional Conduct & Business Awareness
Spa Manicure, Spa Pedicure Filing and Finishing, Enameling
Depilatory waxing
Eye and skin treatments
Electrical Facial Treatments include:
Ultra violet & Infra red - Faradism
Iontophoresis
Vacuum suction & Galvanism
Micro-current (non surgical facelift)
Nail Technology includes:
Liquid & powder enhancements
Organic resin enhancements
Tips, Blending and mixing of colours
Make-Up Art includes:
Cosmetic science, Anatomy of bones of head, neck and face
Skin care & skin analysis
The colour wheel and use in make-up
Bridal & Fashion Make-up
IPL & Laser Treatment includes:
Knowledge of Light in Clinical Applications,
Knowledge of Safety in a Clinical Environment,
Principles of Light Treatment
Provide Pulsed Light Treatment
Knowledge of Pulsed Light Technology
Qualifications include:
First Aid Certification
(NZQA Units 6400, 6401, 6402)
Certificate in Beauty Specialist
NZQA National Certificate in Nail Technology (Level 4)
NZQA National Certificate in Beautician (Level 4)
CIBTAC – Diploma in Aesthetic Treatments (International)
ITEC-Diploma in Laser Treatments and IPL. (Int)
‘Cuccio’ Spa Pedicure & Manicure
‘Young Nails’ Certification

$6500 (student loan available for course fees if eligible).

Clean white sand shoes or black closed shoes

International Exam fee’s - $300.00 per exam
